Thanks to orthopaedic products that are not only the cutting edge of technique, but that also have a soul. Because the products themselves make it possible to rediscover the pleasure of movement.

2011: LAUNCH IN THE US

Lima Corporate lands in the U.S.

2011: THE FOCUS ON MAN

The central focus is no longer on the excellence of the product, but the excellence of the service. In the same way, the central  focus on the man is highlighted in all its expressions. The central focus is on the planner man, whose creative thought and craftsman-like attention to the details allow him to work in keeping up with technology. To give life to a perfect product. The central focus is on the salesman, who knows perfectly the features of the product and can train the surgeon man on the product at best. The central focus is on the surgeon man, who lets the patient man enjoy the quality of the product and recover a higher functionality. This is at the heart of our service. The focus on man is the core of our current evolution. This is the idea at the basis of Lima Corporate – Orthopaedic Emotion.

To be continued ...

PRESS RELEASE

"A great future is in front of us!"
Luigi Ferrari
Chief Executive Officer
Lima Corporate

Last November Italian-born and bred Luigi Ferrari, who is also a naturalized US citizen, was appointed Lima Corporate’s Chief Executive Officer. A world-recognized expert in medical products, Luigi Ferrari has since spearheaded Lima Corporate’s ambitious multi-year plan to consolidate the company’s position as a global player and drive its growth supported by ever increasing innovation. Growth is a must-win battle for Lima Corporate’s CEO. His determination to make growth happen reflects the absolute commitment and unswerving conviction of a man accustomed to achieving continuous improvements and reaching significant milestones. Our CEO’s determination has brought everyone on board. There is a shared eagerness to proactively defend the value Lima has created over the years, whether it be knowledge- or product-based, by venturing into new markets and rolling out new products, managing Lima’s assets with incomparable efficiency and effectiveness, and pushing the envelope in terms of breakthrough technologies, processes and organizations. Matching the excellence of Lima Corporate with the expertise and knowhow of Luigi Ferrari means enhancing the company’s reputation and values and
striving towards strategic development targets. When Lima Corporate appointed Luigi Ferrari, it scored a major coup.
The new CEO’s extensive experience and his perspective for the future of the company will build even more confidence in its ability to conquer present and future challenges.
Luigi Ferrari came to Lima Corporate from another success story at the Orthofix Group where his career spanned 19 years, rising through the senior management ranks from executive to the very top echelons, from Country level (Italy Division) to the European dimension, and then Head of Global Markets. Luigi’s inspiring career began with a degree in Management Engineering from the Politecnico di Milano, followed by the Advanced Management Program at the Harvard Business School in Boston.
Luigi Ferrari would never have left the United States and Orthofix’s well structured group had he not believed heart and soul in the outstanding future lying ahead for Lima. What grabbed him was Lima’s exciting product pipeline, the upcoming international roll-out of its new knee platform, and seeing the company poised for massive global growth following its foray into the US market, where Lima has already garnered extremely positive feedback, not to mention its plans to expand into Latin America. Luigi is married and has two children. At the end of June he will say farewell to Dallas and move back to Italy with his family.

Luigi Ferrari will definitely be an in-house CEO for an increasingly global Lima Corporate.
