CL Trauma
The CL TRAUM cemented hip prosthesis fi lls the diaphyseal canal so good that the layer of acrylic cement is made uniform, both antero-posteriorly and latero-medially. The straight shape and an appropriate length assure a safe implant stability even in cases of bones with insufficient trophism. A large collar favours the full contact with the calcar region. The resisting section of the prosthesis has been conceived with the aim of minimizing all stresses applied to the cement. The CL TRAUMA stem presents a 135° CCD angle, is available in three sizes and is realized with stainless steel AISI 316 L (ASTM F 1348). The 12/14 taper is compatible with all femoral heads having 22, 28, 32 and 36 mm diameter fot total implants or with endo and biarticular heads for applications in traumatology. The system is supplied with an essential and easy-to use instrument set, made of a series of three monolitic rasps. Trial heads for preliminary reductions are available on request. CL Revision The CL Revision hip prosthesis is characterized by a long collared stem and is conceived for cemented revisions. The stem is available in three sizes(length 185, 205 or 255 mm) to assure a good distal fixation. The CL REVISION prosthesis is realized in Ti6AI4V Titanium Alloy (ASTM F 136), has 12/14 taper and the CCD angle amounts to 135°. |
