The Friendly hip prosthesis has been designed together with a fourth generation cementation technique in order to obtain the best and longest lasting results from a cemented prosthesis.

The Friendly stem is straight, with rectangular sections and rounded rims,polished and without collar.

The stem characteristics together with an excellent cement pressurisation enable to obtain an optimal peripheral contact while maintaining the necessary tension status in the cement itself.

Possible positioning intra-surgical errors are avoided thanks to the correct utilisation of the asymmetric proximal centralizer and by a distal cap allowing automatic stem centring in the conicalshaped cement cap.

The plug is positioned in the way to avoid any risk of distal migration durino cement pressurisation.

Furthermore, the distal cap is designed to allow any subsequent setting in the cement under load while avoiding possible cracks in the layer.
