H-MOOS
The H-MOOS hip prosthesis has been designed for cement fixation in line with the most traditional principles of hip arthroplasty.

The stems are produced in CoCrMo alloy (ASTM F 75), they are straight and symmetrical and are available in
eight sizes.

The CCD angle amounts to 135° and the neck length varies according to the stem size.

The cone for the femoral heads is the standard 12/14.

The biomechanical principle underlying the H-MOOS stem relies on the concept of perssurization which is achieved thanks to a perimetrical collar extending along the proximal side of the stem.

The stem cross-section is characterised antero posteriorly by the presence of two different planes esulting in a greater cement pressurization in the medial direction.

The distal end of the stem has a lateral chamfer which prevents ani impingiment in case of varus positioning of the implant.

The axial alignment of the stem is ensured by applying on its distal end a Polyethylene intramedullary centralizer, removable if necessary.

Advantages:

Simple and reliable system.

Easy-to-use, precise instrument set.

Modular rasps which replace trial prostheses.
