Logica
Logica System has been desi-gned to meet the different needs on hip replacement surgery.

The stems are symmetrical (straight) and are available in three different versions: Standard and Mirror for a cement implant and CS for a biological fixation.

Only one instrument set, to be used with all Logica stems (cemented or cementless stems), allows for an intra-surgical choice based on bone trophism.

Stems have a cervico-diaphyseal angle of 135° and a standard 12/14 cone suitable for metal or ceramic heads for complete replacements and for endo or biarticular heads for use in traumatology.

The length of the highly polished neck increases according to the stem size (offset ranging from 40.5 to 48 mm) and the main dimensions increase proportionally as well.

The special low tapered profi le of the neck improves the articular range of motion (ROM) up to values of 136º.

The two cemented versions, Standard and Mirror, are distally fi tted with a polyethylene diaphyseal centralizer allowing for the proper setting in the cement and an easy neutral insertion of the stem.

The FeCrNiMnMoNbN alloy used for the Mirror and Standard versions, and the Ti6Al4V alloy for the CS version, are materials with excellent and proven characteristics both from the mechanical and bio-compatibility points of view.

STANDARD:

Collar and side fins on the anteroposterior face to improve the cement pressurisation and avoid the varus positioning of the implant

Neck surface smooth and matt

Pre-assembled centralizer ensuring an easy neutral insertion of the stem

Stems available in six different sizes

MIRROR:

No collar

Polished surface and tapered distal profile to allow for proper setting of the stem in the cement

Indicators for the proper insertion of the stem

Pre-assembled centralizer ensuring an easy neutral insertion of the stem

Stems available in seven different sizes

CS:

Cementless stem complete with a double pair of antero-posterior fins for the primary stabilisation

Macro-roughened surface to facilitate osteointegration and biological fixation of the prosthesis

Stems available in seven different sizes
