The Randelli multiplane System was born in 1994, as well as the fi rst modular cement less shoulder prosthesis has been performed in that year.

Subsequently, all around the world about 2000 Randelli Prostheses have been implanted. Due to the increased feedback and the wide experience, Lima developed the new SMR System, studied and validated by the working group “Lima Shoulder” coordinated by Prof. Mario Randelli.

The modular Shoulder System SMR permits the treatment of any clinical pathology: elective, trauma and revision operation, with extension to tumoral resection too.
