The SPH system was designed in 1994 in order to solve the problem of the loosening of tronco-conical screw cups, proposing at the same time an alternative idea for primary fixation.

Today Lima-Lto offers a complete system of cementless acetabular cups, suitable for the treatment of most hip pathologies.

Thanks to the versatility of the system, SPH acetabular cups do not necessarily mutually exclude each other, but are part of a system in which the choice of the model can be made directly in the operating theatre depending on the morphology and bone trophism of the patient.

SPH acetabular cups are CONTACT for press-fit application and ST for screw application, all with hemispheric design.
