The revision cup system of the SPH series is proposed as an all-inclusive optimal solution for the different cases of acetabular defects.

The system consisting in cementless cotyles offers various primary fi xation solutions, without altering the principle of load support and transmission to the hemispherical surface of the subchondral bone.

The SPH cotyle series for the revision treatment was developed(1994: Revision, 1996: Bilobo and Bicomponent, 1999: Anatomic)in order to satisfy the needs of surgeons who, in cases of reimplantation, can be faced with the need to treat more or less important bone deficiencies, both cavitary and segmental.

However, in case of severe segmental erosions, the implant of reinforcement cages with a cementless cup is recommended as well as bone graft if necessary.
