In the field of materials, in particular, thorough study has been devoted to the applications of titanium, special steels, highly innovative superalloys, biopolymers and hydrogels.
The technology used to develop products is constantly updated, and it ranges from traditional CAD/CAM systems to FEM analysis and the use of fast prototyping.
The research activity is accompanied by a constant improvement in production processes, which has made it possible to acquire important experience in hot-pressing of metals, in mechanical processing, finishes and surgical techniques.
