The DELTA System was created in 1999 to offer a comprehensive range of complete, versatile acetabular cups, minimise the risk of luxation through the use of large diameters, and optimise the mechanical performance of joint components.
The DELTA-FINS cup is made out of Titanium alloy (Ti6Al4V) and features a series of longitudinal equatorial fins; the fins penetrate into the bone tissue, enhancing torsional stability and achieving optimal primary mechanical fixation.
The DELTA-FINS cup is designed to fit acetabular sockets which may feature surgically adequate morphologies but require special care, such in case of dysplasia, certain first revisions and post-osteotomy cases.
The DELTA-PF cup is made out of Titanium alloy (Ti6Al4V) and features equatorial retainer grooves; the diameter of the cup is oversized to ensure a good press-fit in the acetabular bone preparation.
The DELTA-ST C screw cup is made out of Titanium alloy (Ti6Al4V) and features six helicoidal principles designed to ensure optimal primary stability and withstand torsional loads around the widest point without separating from the bone wall.
The 2M acetabular cup derives from the double mobility concept first introduced by G. Bousquet in 1975. To prevent luxation, the design features cranial coverage and offers excellent adaptation to the anatomy of the acetabulum.
MET-MET & DOUBLE MOBILITY
The system was designed to achieve the utmost stability while respecting and preserving the morphology of the acetabulum. The system includes a set of Cobalt alloy cups that can be combined with large diameter metal heads or Polyethylene inserts for double mobility solutions.
SPH-CONTACT & SPH-ST
The SPH-CONTACT cup in Commercially Pure Titanium is a press-fit cementless acetabular cup with a Porous Titanium coating.
The SPH-ST cup in Commercially Pure Titanium is a screw-in press-fit cementless acetabular cup with a Porous Titanium coating in the polar region and a macro-textured surface in the helicoidal fin region.
