The result of more than a decade of in-vivo research, the 3DKnee™ design is based on a comprehensive study of knee kinematics through fluoroscopic review, tibial plateau resection, and tibial insert retrieval analysis.
As a result of this analysis of pathological axial rotation and motion patterns in total knees, the implant provides an articular surface with the optimal balance between conformity and constraint while remaining complementary to the existing mechanics.
